NILCRAFTZ is an architecture design studio, newly established by Zeng Zhibin in Singapore.
"NILCRAFTZ" refers to our regard of built forms as syntactic constructs and semantic nihilities. It celebrates the potentiality of "nonexistence" or the space that is realized by such physicality.
Deviating from the idea of a static utopia in the context of Plato, we believe in an evolving idea of the optimal society that progresses with civilization. Architecture, as the hardware of such a dynamic utopia should reflect the zeitgeist of its time and the foreseeable time beyond. We are refrained from imitating any classics, as they were avant-garde of their own times.
Among the core members of NILCRAFTZ, Zeng Zhibin graduated from the National University of Singapore with the best final thesis, and he was nominated for the Royal Institute of British Architect President Award Silver Medal. Prior to establishing NILCRAFTZ, Zeng Zhibin spent his early career with Pritzker Prize winning office, Herzog & de Meuron as well as Singapore President Design Award winners, WOHA Architects and SCDA Architects. He has participated or led multiple international projects of various scales and programs. The other core members of the studio all have professional experiences with Pritzker Prize winning offices.
The scope of our design services range from city-defining architecture, landscape to place-making installation arts and interior designs. NILCRAFTZ looks forward to collaborating with like-minded clients, institutions and personals and provide differentiated design solutions.
